Moving to the Philippines

I plan to move to the Philippines in a few months and have some questions. I don't know where I would like to settle, so I plan to travel around the country for a few months. I am semi-retired and plan to live there part time and also return to the US every few months.

- What does it take to open a bank account? Do you need a permanent address in the Philippines? Can you open an account while living in a hotel or airbnb?

- I want to live in different places for a couple of weeks or a month at a time. I would like to date local women. But I have heard that if you stay in airbnbs it is a problem to bring guests inside. For condos there is often a guard that will prevent you. What's the best option for a short term rental that will allow you to have guests stay over? Is it better to just stay in a hotel?

- Is it worth renting or leasing a car? Or in cities is it better to just use grab for transportation?

Thank you for any help!
