I'm Getting Closer to My home

To quote a very old song, I'm getting closer to our home in Pototan, Iloilo Province, Philippines.

I've put my retirement papers in and my exit date from the USA is Dec. 19. My wife will get to the house in RP and leave from NY on Nov. 12 with our dog. We are planning a big Christmas week with my wife's siblings and their families at our place in the Barasan Brgy. I can hardly wait.

We have been planning and building to this time for 10 years, so you can just imagine my excitement. The house is done, the pool is in, we've installed our generator. I'm ready for the next chapter in my life and that will be spent about 10 months a year on the island of Panay.
