Scammers

Folks,

Recently returned from the Philippines with a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe it was just a run if bad luck or has things really gone so bad that every corner you turn someone is waiting to hit the foreigner for what they can get. From the fixer at immigration, traffic enforcers pulling you in for no reason, taxis over charging, street traders hassling to buy stuff and over charging, construction workers doing really bad work, getting paid and running, kids trying to rob your stuff walking, and the list goes on. Even at the health centre having a tetanus injection I was charged for something I found out should. have been free. I've come to the decision to leave the Philippines because it just seems to be getting worse than ever for scammers. Anyone here experience similar?

Read this article today and it's just another example of how far the scams go. https://www.geo.tv/latest/496746-philippine-officials-left-red-faced-after-tourism-video-used-stock-images
