Hiring a driver for your vehicle

Does anyone have any experience with hiring a driver in the Cebu City area to drive their vehicle? We have been taking taxis everywhere since arriving in late June and while inconvenient it hasn't been that expensive however we plan to eventually purchase a car and I have no desire to drive in and around Cebu City and so we are thinking about hiring someone to drive our car or perhaps find some kind of on call driver service.
