Entry requirements (Covid)

I am planning to visit the Philippines for the first time in February. After checking the recommended vaccination list from the CDC I noticed Covid on it so I checked the internet to see if it is still a requirement for the Philippines and apparently it is. I had thought they would have come to their senses and removed it as nearly every other sane country has, including the uber liberal US government. Can anyone verify that it still is required (a vaccination record) or if maybe just a negative vaccination test just before entry will suffice (which the US government no longer requires either)?
