Rent

I have lived in the Philippines for almost 2 years. For the last year I have rented a place from a woman for P8000 month. When she said on January 1 the rent was going to be P10,000 pesos I decided to move. Rent was always due on the 11th. I was out of the place on the 8th of November before the rent was due on the 11th. I received a call from her saying i owed her rent for November. We don't have a contract. I see no reason to pay her anything. Knowing what I do about Landlords in the Philippines I know what she is trying to do. Do I just tell her no and forget it.
