Preparing to move to the Philippines

How much much stuff can I bring into the country? Are bicycles, E-bikes, pellet guns, compound (archery) bows allowed? What is the best way to import my stuff? Should I leave all of my winter clothes behind? What is the best visa to apply for in a permanent retire situation? What are the requirements as in cost, pension amount, etc. What is the best medical insurance for an active 65 yr old male? I am healthy but I may break bones, get stitches etc.
I will have 3000 USD per month with SS and pension, how much should I have to in a cash reserve (above the minimum amount) to not worry at all. Should I get a Filli drivers license? If I buy a scooter, can I travel the entire country taking it on ferries to other islands? I am interested in working part time to keep busy. Could I teach at a local university? I have a masters in mechanical engineering with many years of calculus. Are teachers in demand? I am allowed approx. 25000 per year to earn without a social security penalty, what could I do to earn money? I have CADD skill which would allow me to work from home, how is the internet? My city choices are Dumaguete, Iloilo, and Cebu, in that order. What would you recommend? Thanks!
