Good Morning Gents,
I'm seeking a good attorney in Zamboanga City (ZC), for the purchase of an existing, titled house and lot, with my Pinay gf as the sole purchaser, with the title (upon sale) transferred into her name.
Of course, I'll be providing all the necessary "purchase cash".
As a corresponding part of the process, I'd like the attorney to prepare documents, arranging for my subsequent and immediate purchase of the "house only" (that sits upon the lot) from my gf.
Furthermore, for my lease of the land (lot) from her, on a 25-year lease arrangement ... with the provision for a 25-year lease extension thereafter.
I understand that a foreigner is entitled to own the "house only", just not the land that it sits upon. And that a foreigner may also hold a long-term lease upon the land, as described above.
Shall this all be legal, under Philippines law? And does anyone know a good ZC attorney to arrange it?
Thanks in advance.
