Spinal injury question

My ONLY biggest concern is that I have a morphine pain pump installed that goes into my spine. The pump needs to be refilled every 45-50 days by a specialist. Is that type of healthcare management available there or should I look at having the pump removed. Then I would have to go back on pills(which I'd prefer not to). I guess I am curious how they treat pain management. I am on permanent disability here in the USA.
