Caterer Move to Warsaw

I'm seriously considering a move to Warsaw, due to a significant other and have been trying to get an understanding on whether it's feasible and just how different I can expect things to be.
I'm a very experienced, award winning manager in catering, having run pubs, hotels, brasseries and always been successful.
The thing is, I don't speak Polish yet but would do an intensive course to try to remedy this. I've tried the five star hotels in Warsaw but heard nothing back yet.
Am I just being a dreamer, or can I really make a life in Poland, with the skills and knowledge that I have?
Any help would be much appreciated.
