I've been applying to companies in Qatar as an Architect. I hold an Indian passport.
I've just heard from a few people that the Qatar government does not issue work visas to Indians or that they make it very hard to get one and this is a reason that companies in Qatar donot want to hire Indian nationals, no matter their qualifications.
Is this true?
I would really appreciate genuine informed comments about this as I am planning to visit Qatar next week to apply at certain companies.
