General cost of living?

Hi,

I have been offered a job starting with the Asian Games in March. Accomodation in a twin villa has been offered but I have yet to negotiate a living allowence.

Can anyone tell me the aprox cost of food/consumable goods? Are fresh fruit, vegis and meat all readily avaliable? Is it prohibitively expensive to eat out? Just trying to determine the reasonable cost of living.

Have been very spoilt working in Australia and SE Asia. I think I am in for a rude awakening.
