I have been in Doha for a few months on a temporary assignment and I am debating between accepting a indefinite assignment here or returning to the United States. A big factor in this decision is my wife and her career. She currently works for a sports team in a major market in the United States, managing a premium seating section where her clients are the executives of the most important companies in a major market. I know finding something similar in Doha will be challenging, especially in the sporting world. High profile event management or some sort of management in a hotel might be another option. If anyone has any ideas of where to look and how to pursue jobs in these fields I would be very grateful. The availability of information here is not like it is in the United States!
