Buying a house in Romania - transferring money

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone can offer some advice. My fiancee and I are buying a house in Romania - she's Romanian so doing most of the hard work (thankfully!)

We've agreed a price with the seller but are just researching ways of actually transferring the final amount to the seller. The seller is actually German, so think we'll need to do this in Euros. The house value is actually not that large, so we haven't arranged a mortgage.

Any ideas - how do we do it so that we're able to transfer the cash when he signs over the documents to us?
