I have lived in Michigan for the past 12 years of my life. I have done all of my schooling here from my last year of high-school all the way through undergraduate school and my Certified Public Accountant license. I am looking to relocate back to Romania for a better work-life balance. I have been working my tail off my entire career here, and I feel like there is no end to the hectic lifestyle that I currently live.
I am looking for a positon in Romania that would provide a decent lifestyle there, and that would enable me to make use of my language skills or my financial proficiencies. My work experience is not very helpful because I have worked mainly as a tax accountant at large accounting firs (Ernst & Young, Detroit is one of them), which means that I am deeply specialized in US business tax matters. I hate it, so I would like to begin a career that would enable me to work with students or clients from other parts of Europe, and preferably never be forced to ever look at a US business tax return ever again.
I am not sure if there is anything out there that would work for my particular situation, but I am eager to find out what my options are.
I am 29 years-old and happy to start over in an environment of hard work, professionalism and opportunities for career growth.
