What is it like being a Mum in Jeddah?

20 years ago
I have recently been offered a job in Jeddah. Whilst it is easy for me to feel comfortable with the change in lifestyle it is not so for my wife. We have three daughters, 5, 3, and 6 months so it will be a big move. She is looking for other mothers experiences with Saudi but Jeddah in particular. She thinks it will be very restrictive and obviously very dangerous at the minute. What happens if one of our children gets ill or requires injections? What is the standard of schooling like? Are we expected to pay for schooling or should the company be picking up the tab? Any general info would be appreciated.
