Indian Christian Family moving to Jeddah in March 2006 from Dubai

I have got a career enhancing opportunity to move to Jeddah by March 2006. We are Catholics with two children under the ages of three.
We currently reside in Dubai. Just needed to know what kind of a social life exists in Jeddah - we are not party animals but would not like to spend all our evenings glued to the telly at home. Is there cable tv / radio available there ? Are there DVD lending libraries ? Are there weekend spots one can go to safely with the family ?What do most people do socially in the evenings ? Is there Christian religious services of any kind available ? Are there any Indian Social Clubs ? Is there some way we could make online friends with current residents of Jeddah ?
