Possible job

I am a qualified English nanny who has been put forward for a job in Saudi Arabia. I am not sure which city this family lives in but would just like to get some information on a life out there. I would be working for a local family and not expat.
My family is up in arms about it half saying yes and the other half saying no.
I have just finished 15 years living and working in Asia.
