Lover's in bind.

I'm American with one teenage son and my future husband is Scottish with one teenage son (joint custody with his ex-wife). I'm trying to get to Scotland to be with him.

I'm guessing this isn't a new topic in this forum. (heehee)

We are completely beside ourselves with the immigration requirements and need help. Neither one of us is 'rich' enough to qualify for the income requirements stated for the Spouse visa or Fiancé visa. We're not married yet.

I'm willing to apply for a Work Visa instead if someone was willing to hire me. I just need to get my foot in the door and my fiancé and I will work our our hearts out making this happen. We just want to be together but system is designed to keep us apart.

I'm also under a huge time crunch as well. Life has forced me to expedite this process.

Any good advice or assistance is greatly appreciated.

~Yvonne
