Hullo friends! I'm new to the forum...I hope this is the right website for this question, if not please let me know where I can get more information.
Background - I'm an American citizen (and Australian/NZ if that helps) but currently live and work in the US. However my job is a remote coding job, so anywhere with an internet connection is perfect for the job. The pay is good and I'm saving up to buy a little bit of land with a house or to build a house. My dream forever has been to live in the UK, and after backpacking a few years ago in Scotland, that's where I want to live.
So the question is - with an American job, can I move/buy land in Scotland? I would love to eventually become a citizen, but first things first. I've looked at the different categories of visas, and I'm not sure which one would be best for me, if any. I'm not looking to take any jobs there, just live and work from home.
Thanks a million!
