TEACHING ENGLISH IN SINGAPORE

Hi there,

My name is Eddie and I saw your e mail on the ExPat Exchange Website.

I am a qualified lawyer currently looking for a way into Singapore where my girlfriend is living.

It will be very difficult for me to find legal work locally unless I am "on the ground" so to speak and so I was thinking of studying the intensive CELTA course for 4 weeks and then trying to get work teaching English language locally in Singapore but I dont know where to start in terms of work because I hear most Singaporeans speak English anyway.

Any advice that you have would be very helpful...I'm really looking for a 1 year contract with mt Law Degree + CELTA?
