Hi everyone!
We are a group of students from National Junior College working on a project called EXtraVOdinary. In our project, we work with local Voluntary Welfare Organizations (VWOs) to organize selected one-day volunteer activities specially for expatriates in Singapore to experience doing volunteer work in the local community.
We are looking for volunteers to join our organized volunteer activities alongside other expatriates in Singapore. Through our activities, you can meet like-minded people and new friends, help the needy in Singapore and learn more about the amazing work local VWOs do! (:
We have four activities this August:
1. An Introductory Talk by Nature Society Singapore (27th August) to learn about the work they do in supporting environmental conservation and their volunteer service activities.
2. A Coastal Clean-up at Mandai Mudflats with Nature Society Singapore (10th August) this National Day Holiday.
3. A Horseshoe Crab Rescue & Research activity with Nature Society Singapore (24th August) to help Horseshoe Crabs entrapped in fishing nets.
4. A Horse-riding therapy session with disabled children with Riding for the Disabled Association (17th August) Volunteers work with both the horse and disabled children as part of therapy for the children.
Please sign up here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1tb4wAMgNf1ceF6kcbCuI1MTTPZ5KMQa5KdVfFepnUhU/viewform for the activities you are interested in.
