IT/Computing jobs

I'm really keen on moving to South africa for a year. I'm from Australia and am ready to leave on short notice.
I work in IT as a systems admin and have completed MCSE and CCNA and have worked in the industry for 7 years from first level support, systems administrator and field network engineer.
I'm interested in working in the support field eg. team leader or 2-3rd level support.
I've looked through careerjunction.co.za and there are a lot of jobs.
Am I likely to secure a mid level job like this while applying from overseas?
I've just started applicatoin process for a work seekers permit.
am I even likely to get a job or would mid level jobs like this only be given to locals?
how can I find out information about availability and likelyhood of gaining employment?
Are there any employment agencies or newspapers that I should be looking at first?
