Post-Euro trends in Spanish real estate prices?

The US press reports that real estate prices in Barcelona (where I'm considering relocating & buying)were dropping sharply after the Euro conversion. Has this happened?
Also, any apt/flat rental or r.e. sales firms to be recommended? (I'm American, with limited Spanish so far) Thanks--
