Scots family looking for a new life in Spain

We are a Scottish family looking for a new start in Spain (Costa Dorada preferably) We have no property to sell and would need a job and accomodation to move to. We have had nothing but negative responses from all we have approached about this. We are not giving up. Has any one done it? Can anyone give us advice?
The one thing we have managed to do in preperation for a move so far is to pay all debts. WE have no debts what so ever. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] I can turn my hand to anything.
