looking for my father's birth certificate

I am a US citizen with an spaniard father (deceased) and I am trying to obtaing my spaniard citizenchip through him. My only problem is that I don't know how to look for a copy of his birth certificate( necesary for the process) so I am looking for a service that can obtain his birth certificate in Madrid. Any advice on that kind of service would be greatly appreciated.
