This might sound like a really silly question, but I would like some helpful feedback, and opinions, if anyone can kindly advise please ?
My hubby and I recently visited Spain, with a view to seeing if we like could see ourselves living and retiring there. We found an area that we like. We are in our 50's; British, but not currently living in the UK. We would like to buy a home in Spain in 2018, but how will Brexit, ie, leaving the EU, impact our rights to remain in Spain once we become permanent residents?
We are not in a position to become Citizens of Spain.
How will travel be affected, coming in and out of Spain, once the UK leaves the EU?
Is it a wise to sell up and move to Spain? (we really like it there, for lots of reasons. We have already moved to one country, and we are ready for another move).
We have EU passports, but what will they mean, come April 2019 - anything?
