Shipping boxes to Spain from USA

Hi,

Has anyone shipped boxes from the USA to Spain? I just went to send possibly one box of books and two boxes of linens/clothes/small kitchen appliances.

A) Is this terribly expensive,

B) Do you have to list all the items for customs?
