Removal of the golden visa

Hi First post here so please be gentle.
Just been reading in the news today about the Spanish priminister doing away with the Golden visa.
Not really looked too much into visa's as we are not planning on moving out there till we retire, around 6 years. How does this affect people who want to sell up in their country and move there perminantly? or is this just a visa for people still wanting to live in UK and live there so many months of the year?

We are not looking at paying anything like the 429,000 stated in the news artical we are looking around the 150 to 250 bracket of house prices.

Thanks for any info on this, as it has dampened the dream a little at the moment
