Taking cats to Sri Lanka

Hi,
I hope someone can help us. We are moving to Sri Lanka in about 3 months to retire on their My Dream Home programme. We have two elderly cays which we obviously need to take with us but are having difficulty in finding out if this is possible. Have been told that SL will not accept cats from a country with BSE. Does anyone know if this is correct and if it is, is there anyway round this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
