importing food items

i have just returned to lausanne from a two day trip to england with my suitcase fiiled with paxo stuffing , custard powder and mature chedder !whilst looking very guilty walking through customs as if i was carrying drugs. Can anyone tell me what food items you can and can not bring into switzerland? i have tried everywhere to try and find out this information but with no luck.
