Possibly moving to Basel... looking for a friendly contact

Greetings!
My family 'might' have an opportunity to move to Basel this year. I have ready most of the threads/forums here about moving from the US to Switzerland. All have been very helpful, but I still have some questions: Do companies help with relocation and children schooling? About how much is it to ship furniture? Anyone have good resources on what shipping company is better?
