Getting the lay of the land.

1. Any advice about living with dogs in Switzerland? I have 3, from 4.5 kg to 50 kg. I am especially interested in getting them off-leash time and boarding that doesn't cost more than my trip.

2. Where are the places you have felt closest to nature, most remote?

3. I will want to move some of my things here from the US. Any good experiences with accomplishing that? Also, mail and package forwarding services?

4. Have you read anything that enriches your understanding of Swiss history and culture?

5. What has been most helpful to you learning German? How to deal with the German-Swiss German issue? When/how does it matter?

6. What things have you liked more about Switzerland than your country of origin, things that would be hard to leave behind?

7. Has anyone started a business here? Even something small...
