What is the best housing solution if I only need it for max. 2 or 3 days per week?

Will work from Zwitserland 2 or 3 days a week. For hopefully one year or more.
Rest of the days I will work from Freiburg (Germany).
Renting a whole house seems a bit overdone. Are there any other options?
