Schooling for Twp year old

Hi, I have heard that if you teach english in some schools then your child can attend the school which you are teaching in at a cost, of which a portion is taken out of your wages??? Im from the UK and considering moving to Taiwan but we have a two year old son and we're wondering if there's anyway possible that we can enroll him local pre-schools without it costing the earth...?
