Expat Dreaming: Please help

I am Aaron Clark, I am currently serving a 5 year term with the US Navy Seabees. I am 28 years old and looking to move to thailand to live with my Thai Fiance. I am looking for any Expats or anyone aware of opporotunities for an Ex military individual looking to make a life in Thailand. I am motivated and learning to speek thai currently . My move date is in 2004 once I conclude my term in the service. I am a hard worker and a motivated team player all I want is to live and work in thailand with my soon to be wife. If there are any of you out there who have information or leads for me I would greatly appreciate it.

As far as location Chang mai , phuket or Bangkok are all acceptable.

I do not currently have a degree only one year of Fire science related course work.
