Engineering job atmosphere and ways of thinking?

Hello,

I am 26 years old and thinking about applying for an internal position, regarding production/manufacturing, with my company at two different locations: Chachoengsao and Phitsanulok. Could anyone describe the general attitude at work and working hours, such as team vs independent orientation, overtime, social in/formalities, start and end times, vacation, relationships with associates outside of work, and any other useful or interesting information. I am just curious as I am considering many other options including travel without a job.
