I am 61 years old. I have a severe case of BPH. In constant pain. Its to the point that my current Dr. has recomended prostate removal. No cancer, just due to pain. As much discomfort as I am in I am seriously considering it. I am an expat in South America, however I have read Thiland has an advanced medical system at a reasonable cost. I have medical coverage where I am but concerned on the quality of outcome here. Has anyone here had there prostate removed in Thiland and if anyone would have a balpark cost. I assume the cost will all be out of my pocket unless there is some insurance coverage I could get there. I am not oposed to moving to Thiland for some months prior if it meant I could get coverage to save some money. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appriciated.
