One of the confusing things about looking for a House to buy in Thailand is the fact that non Thai nationals cannot buy freehold land just rent it for up to 30 years. Real estate adds often list the land title by it's Thai description (Red Chanote etc) I would like a list of the various land tenures I can actually buy/lease so I can sort the sheep from the goats so to speak. I am an Australian National, in receipt of a superannuation pension in Australia and am looking at selling my property in Australia to purchase in Thailand.
