Dutch repatriated teenagers

In 2006, Stichting NOB (Foundation for Dutch Education Abroad) will be conducting a research into the repatriation of Dutch teenagers who have spent some years abroad.

The aim of the research is to investigate the consequences an international experience has on children in their developmental years. Stichting NOB hopes to improve her knowledge on this subject, so she can coach the repatriation process of these students better and improve her advice to the students themselves, their parents, and teachers on their return to Holland. Recommendations to improve the content of Dutch (cultural) education abroad, which aims to help ease the transition, will also be based on this research.

The target group of the research is teenagers who can answer the following questions affirmatively:
- Are you Dutch?
- Are you between 13 and 18 years old?
- Have you lived abroad?
- Have you been back in Holland for at least a year?

Taking part in the research involves filling out a questionnaire about your experiences. You can answer these questions digitally (it will be sent by email) and it will only take about 20 minutes of your time. The acquired data and answers will remain confidential and will also only be used for this specific research project.

Interested in taking part in the project? To apply, please send an email to: [email protected]
For more information, or if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email this address as well.

Thank you very much for your time and effort!
