I'm a trini living in Kansas City MO and like any of you who travel back and forth you get requests from everyone to "bring me something".
I'm floating the idea of taking requests from folks in the states for items they'd like me to bring back
How this would work:
1) email me your requests
2) after we talk we discuss payment for the goods
3) I travel to Trinidad on Sept 1 - there i purchase the items
4) when I get back to the US I mail the goods and you're billed for the goods, and a fee that coivers transport etc
Send me thoughts - I've seen this concept in Europe especially for items that aren't exported but the execution is challenging (including the trust issues). Its a type of personal courier business
