Hi I am considering moving to Trinidad next year. I am a 35 year old single woman. I am a customer service training facilitator and consultant on service & loyalty. I hold a Certificate of Recognition of CARICOM Skills Qualification.
My questions are:
1. Do I need to set up a company in Trinidad to conduct my business as consultant?
2. If I do have to set up a company what is the process and can I do it without a Trinidad citizen interest/ownership in the business?
3. How easy is it to get a place to rent as a self-employed person?
4. Where is the best place to live in terms of safety for a single woman?
5. Can I get around without a car? Is the public transport system reliable?
6. What sort of income would I have to make to not be living from paycheck-to-paycheck and be able to save a little? And to eventually purchase a house/condo?
Appreciate your assistance!
