Young couple seeking room in trinidad

Hello to all if anyone has any information or knows of a family home or guest house for a young student couple from canada, our budget for a room is 300 to max 400 dollars per month. All we require is a bedroom, air conditioned, access to kitchen and bathroom, preferably a private bathroom. we would like to stay close to downtown port of spain or in a safe nearby location. We are arriving next week monday may 31st
