Interview for a job in TT

Greetings all,
I'm a Canadian with a potential opportunity in TT. I've been an expat before to the Caribbean, but it was a lot more "set-up" for me (the employer took care of visa's, housing, etc).

The company interviewing me has said that this is NOT an Expat position but are interviewing me anyway. I'm not sure if this was a typo in the email or what - what does this mean, exactly? That relocation costs will be borne unto myself? That I'd be responsible for the visas, etc? It would seem to me that they'd just not interview me all-together.

Just curious about what that means, and if anyone has ever heard anything similar/experienced similar before.
Thanks!
