Considering Turkey

Would love to hear from anyone who has made the move from the UK to Turkey on a permanant basis.

What is the cost of living compared to the UK and how far will for example "£500 sterling" get you per month?

Is property expensive and difficult to rent on a long term basis?

Is there a thriving expat community and where would you find the majority?

I know there are alot of questions but would appreciate any advice and help.
