Kiev Rent

I am seeking basic information regarding long term (yearly) rental rates in Kiev. I will be relocating there on September 1st.

Can anyone tell me what I should expect to pay for a good quality, newer or recently renovated, furnished, 2 or 3 bedroom flat in easy walking distance to the subway?

I have seen several Internet sights listing thousands of apartments for rent in Kiev and find many that meet my standards in the $600 to $750 per month range. Yet when I speak to people familiar with Kiev they tell me these are not accurate prices and the true rates are much higher.

Any guidance from those familiar with the rental market would be appreciated as I prepare to make this major move.
