Trial period and moving pets

Hello,

I'm looking for some general advice if anyone could give some.

Basically I'm hoping to move to the UAE to either work in Dubai or Abu Dhabi and there will be a 3 month trial period. I have a house and pets in the UK and am considering a house sitter for that period of time whilst I see how things work out - has anyone done this? Good idea?!

Also if things do work out I'd want to hopefully move the dog and cat out, whilst I'm not so concerned about the cat, my dog has always had loads of space to run around and not sure how she'd cope with an apartment - any dog owners out there that could give me an insight into their situation!
