American Coffeemaker in UAE/weekends in Dubai

Hello everyone

Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge. I'm a new expat who's moving from California to UAE in a few weeks (can't wait!). I'll be living in Al-Ain.

I was wondering if there're basic North American autodrip coffee makers in the UAE. Also, is the American coffee sold there? how expensive? I'm trying to decide if I should stock up and take coffee beans with me. I'm not a fan of espresso, I like a good old cup of coffee every morning from my coffee maker, Folgers or anything similar!

Also, is it possible to find reasonable accommodation (safe & clean) during weekends in Dubai? Rates? Any tips?
