I am a US citizen who is searching for employment in the Middle East. I have about 6 years finance background in the automotive industry, non-managerial. I have been searching for basically anything that is business related. What can I do to make myself more attractive to a potential employer? Advice I have already gathered from the web are to have a Department of Defense security clearance (which I am currently working on) and perhaps military/security/police experience (which I dont have). I have studied the Arabic language on and off for about 5 years, and am quite familiar with the Arabic culture. Is there any advise specific to Dubai? I know one of my friends had mentioned that there was a large Indian population, and perhaps learning Hindi, along with Arabic, would be beneficial. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated, thanks for the input.
