Moving to Abu Dhabi

Hi My name is Tania.
My partner & I will be moving to Abu Dhabi in May 06.
He will be working there, I will be adapting to my new life there.
However prior to all that taking place, I was wondering if anyone out there who currently lives in Abu Dhabi can answer some questions for me.
1. Is there a nightlife such as bars & clubs?
2. Can you get alcohol quiet easily?
3. Are there major shopping malls?
4. What is the dress code like for women, are bikinis allowed on the beaches/Pools?
5. What is the cost for say a 3 bedroom apartment with seaviews in a good area?
6. What is the average cost of groceries for 2 adults?
7. Are maids avaliable how much is the going rate?
8. Do the apartment blocks have doormen - porters?
9. Is it easy to make new friends are there women's clubs - ex-pat clubs to join?
10. Do they have cinemas that show english speaking movies latest releases etc?
11. Are taxi's expense to get around in? What is the public transport like?
12. Is tipping compulsary?
13. Are there private tutors for learning the arabic language or is english mainly spoken?
